The beach falls on a detour from Palolem beach. It is known for its isolated location and a three-kilometer long stretch of sand, fringed with palm trees and casuarinas. Agonda is bounded by a large hill on its south. Due to its isolation, there are very few facilities available here but that is exactly what makes this beach very attractive.
How to reach Agonda beach
Agonda beach is not among the most accessible beaches in Goa, yet a number of buses ply from Margao and Canacona and stop at Agonda. However, the best way to reach this beach is by scooter or motor bike.
